Hope
We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
Psalm 33:17-22 NIV
Hope is the courage to move forward,
the promise of possibility,
the certitude in uncertain times,
the tickle of triumph ahead—
a flurry from the future…
the whisper from the place where everything works out well.
The garden is brim-full of hope’s display…
come outside and play!
See seeds sprouting, buds blossoming, fruits forming, trees slowly stretching taller, and be seized by God’s good hope.
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 NIV

Good hope from our garden—
A single, sweet viola volunteered itself under the cucumber trellis
Expectantly waiting for cucumbers!! Little fruits have set behind bright yellow flowers
Elephant dill bloomed radiantly this spring, a constant spill of flowers and seemingly eternal supply of seeds!
Nigella flowers left behind the hope of more starry shows next season, reseeding in our late spring rains
